Local business

Introduction

A new industrial dynamism

On the strength of the industrial expertise that has been fostered and developed in Montluçon, the town is today perfectly placed for a second wave of industrialisation. Industrial waste ground has given way to the Loue Business Park which now boasts new investment in the form of 30 companies occupying some 35 000m2 of building space. As a result of numerous partnerships, and the development of training networks, there is a renewed feeling of confidence which in turn has helped to spur economic growth. Sagem and Amis continue to grow, Dunlop is now the clear European leader in the manufacture of motorcycle tyres, agri-business has a new pork abattoir, Landis & Gyr are consolidating their position, and new international businesses have moved in – S2MI, Transcom, Dagard...
Local expansions or new installations, from tradition to renewal, Montluçon opens its doors to the latest technology and to new businesses.

The Council of the Montluçon Agglomeration has published a guide for potential investors, which is now available. Just click on the picture!
